Modak is a US-based fintech platform leveraging the power of finance and technology to empower kids and teens to reach their full potential. We pursue this mission by offering a gamified fintech and learning ecosystem - with Visa debit cards, family checking accounts, payment network, and AI-powered and embedded financial literacy. We build for scale and security using leading technologies and best practices that power thousands of API calls per day (and scaling rapidly!).

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Implement and execute automated test suites for regression testing and continuous integration
• Evaluate solutions to streamline testing delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and plan testing for new features and releases.
• Review and analyze documents, including Requirements, Use Cases, and Design Specs.
• Testing, including regression tests, of a solution and its accompanying documentation.
• Take part in Bug/Change Management: create new bug/change issues, and support the existing ones.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in software testing, specializing in mobile products.
• Experience building and maintaining automated end-to-end tests, particularly mobile automation testing in the context of build and development systems
• Expertise in using Detox or similar technologies for mobile automation.
• Background in automating mobile applications.
• Experience working as a part of a team with Product, stakeholders and other Engineers.
• Knowledge of the application development cycle.
• Willingness for self-development in the Software Quality Assurance domain.
• Excellent knowledge of software testing methods and technologies, and experience in using them.
• Experience in test automation, including the creation of automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and tools used in automation testing.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for both web and mobile applications.
